Newcastle looking to sign Man United Winger Antony

The Magpies are currently looking for a dynamic winger to join their team, and have set their eyes on Man United star Antony.

Erik Ten Hag’s side signed the Brazilian international in an £86 million deal back in 2022, with a five-year contract. Man United are reportedly looking to sell the player, and sources also claim that Newcastle’s Eddie Howe has displayed interest in a £40 million deal for the winger. Antony has scored over 11 goals during the course of two seasons at Old Trafford, and really needs to a club to establish his footing and grow.

Signing the Brazilian winger marked as one of the most expensive deals for Manchester United, and the ex-Ajax player was reunited with his boss Erik Ten Hag at Old Trafford. Dan Ashworth is in charge for heading the summer transfer window, which is also now likely closed, but Man U are trimming the fat after Anthony Martial and more players left the club in the summer.

Eddie Howe to sign the Man U Winger if Anthony Elanga deal falls off

According to sources at Caught Offside, Newcastle will seek Antony from Man U only if their Anthony Elanga deal falls off. Newcastle’s summer transfer window recently included a long-pursuit deal with star player Marc Guehi, and offered over £70 million for the 23-yr old. However, the deal fell off due to Marc Guehi requiring to stay at Crystal Palace following the injury of a player.
